If no vomiting occurs for 6 to 8 hours, start to give per a small amounts of liquids (water, Gatorade, Pedialyte, or other electrolyte solution), if there was no vomiting of liquids, start to give a frequent little meals of cooked rice or chicken the following day.
If your pet does not want to eat, starts to vomit, or continues to have diarrhea, go to the veterinarian for medical examination and care.
* Most infections that cause diarrhea and vomiting are contagious, so isolate them from other pets
* Do not use any medications without prescription.
* Do not allow your pet to eat or drink until there has been no vomiting for 6 to 8 hours.
