If your bird is not accustomed to pellet food, a gradual transition is recommended. Versele Laga suggests a 7-day plan:

1. Day 0: 100% previous food.
2. Days 1-2: 75% previous food + 25% NutriBird B18.
3. Days 3-4: 50% previous food + 50% NutriBird B18.
4. Days 5-6: 25% previous food + 75% NutriBird B18.
5. Day 7: 100% NutriBird B18.
